Αυτή τη φορά, το Λονδίνο. Που σε βρέχει και σε κρυώνει, που σε γεμίζει και μετά σ' αδειάζει, το κοσμοπολίτικο Λονδίνο, με τις υπέροχες μουσικές του, τις μπύρες, τα fish and chips, τα muffins, τα βιβλία και τις ταινίες του, τα παζάρια του, τους πανέμορφους Ασιάτες, τα κόκκινα λεωφορεία, τις γέφυρες και τις ουρές έξω από τα μπαρ. Λονδίνο, γεια σου Λονδίνο.

Το φεύγα και οι εικόνες στα καφέ των αεροδρομίων - κάποτε πηγαίναμε συχνά για καφέ στο Ελληνικό, χαζεύοντας αεροπλάνα και βαλίτσες με επιβάτες (καλά το λέω).

Μικρά ταξίδια μέχρι στιγμής, θέλω να πω, στην Ευρώπη και τα πέριξ. Στοχεύω σε μακρινότερους προορισμούς, για τα επόμενα χρόνια.

Καλά ήταν, όντως. Αντε, αλλού την επόμενη φορά. Εις το ωραίο Βερολίνο ίσως, γιατί όχι;
Εκτός αν σ' ενδιαφέρει η Κένυα ή η Νότια Αμερική! Και η Βόρεια, τώρα που το σκέφτομαι, δεν θα'ταν άσχημη περίπτωση, αν και απ' ό,τι είδα στο blog σου, έχεις γυρίσει μεγάλο μέρος της.
θα πηγαινα Φινλανδια (ειναι κοντα η αγια πετρουπολη). Το Λονδίνο το βρισκω ενδιαφερον παρα το γεγονος οτι δεν ειναι ομορφο. Ισως επειδη εχει μια διεθνης γευση.
Ο Armani ψηφίζει Ισλανδία πάντως.
Αν έχεις χρόνο να "ταξιδέψεις", μακράν Ν. Αμερική. Απωθημένο μου εδώ και χρόνια... Απο τότε που διάβασα μια συνέντευξη του μακαρίτη του Α. Τρίτση στο ΠοΠ & Ροκ, όπου και έλεγε ότι την γύρισε στα τέλη του '50 με τραίνο. Είχε και μια φωτογραφία του στο Νησί του Πάσχα...
Ζηλεύω τους 2- 3 φιλους μου που τα έχουν καταφέρει και πήγαν. Εγώ, ακόμα ελπίζω...
Προσοχή όμως γιατί εκεί κάτω τ' αστέρια λάμπουν διαφορετικά το βράδυ και τα πράγματα είναι γενικά ζόρικα......

Κένυα μόνο εαν προτίθεσαι να μπεις στην ενδοχώρα, αλλιώς δεν πρόκειται να ζήσεις και πολλά στις μεγαλουπόλεις της.
Φινλανδία ενδιαφέρουσα άποψη, αλλά μπρος στην άλλη πρόταση ωχριά νομίζω.
Ψηφίζω Αργεντινή δαγκωτό - να μας μεταφέρεις και άμεσες εντυπώσεις από την παληά της λάμψη και από το ξεπέρασμα του κραχ.
Μα εάν πρόκειται να πάω στην Κένυα, στην ενδοχώρα θα πάω, σιγά μην μείνω στο Ναϊρόμπι.
Μου έχει μείνει τεράστιο απωθημένο απ' όταν διάβαζα στα μικράτα μου Κάρεν Μπλίξεν.
Κάτι μου λέει ωστόσο ότι προς Αργεντινή θα τραβήξω... Υπάρχει βεβαίως και η πολύ καλή πρόταση του Μάλι και του μουσικού Φεστιβάλ που γίνεται εκεί, μέσα στην έρημο, μαζί με τους Τουαρέγκ. Not bad, not bad at all
Αργεντινή... και να βγάλεις χιλιάδες φωτογραφίες για να μπορέσεις μετά να μεταφέρεις λεπτομερείς εντυπώσεις σε μας που στο μεταξύ θα μας τρέχουν τα σάλια, τυχερή!
Αφού σου αρέσει η ενδοχώρα της Κένυας, οι Τουαρέγκ του Μάλι και η Αργεντίνικη Πάμπα, δεν μπορώ να μη σχολιάσω (νιώθω σα να γράφει το έτερόν μου ήμισυ και κρατιέμαι μέρες τώρα). Έχουμε και λέμε λοιπόν:
Κάνω σχέδια για γύρο Αυστραλίας, γύρο Σκανδιναβίας (η Φινλανδία κατέχει περίοπτη θέση φυσικά), γύρο Ανατολικών ΗΠΑ με Βοστόνη, Νιαγάρα, Φλόριντα και τα σχετικά (τις Νοτιοδυτικές τις έχω φάει με το κουτάλι), γύρο Ινδοκίνας, γύρο Αφρικής(!) και ...γύρο απ' όλα με διπλή πίτα - χωρίς τζατζίκι όμως, γιατί με πειράζει στο στομάχι :)
Σοβαρά, λατρεύω τα ταξίδια, κατά προτίμηση με δικό μου ή νοικιασμένο αμάξι, να εναλλάσσονται τα τοπία καθώς καταπίνω τα χιλιόμετρα, να λιώνω τα παπούτσια μου περπατώντας μέσα στην φύση και να ανακαλύπτω μέρη που αγνοούσα εντελώς. Χωρίς αυστηρό πρόγραμμα, χωρίς ξενοδοχειακές κρατήσεις (κοιμάμαι και στο αμάξι αν χρειαστεί ή σε υπνόσακο κάτω από τα άστρα), ακόμα και χωρίς ένα καλό χάρτη μερικές φορές! Όλα αυτά μόνος φυσικά. Πού να βρεις άλλον τρελό να σε ακολουθήσει - ή μήπως κάνω λάθος; Πάντως διάβασα κι εγώ τα υπέροχα ταξιδιωτικά posts του basik (άφησα και σχόλιο για τις Νοτιοδυτικές ΗΠΑ) και ένιωσα απίστευτη ζήλια...
Έχω κάνει βεβαίως και πιο ...προσγειωμένες εξορμήσεις (στην Ευρώπη κυρίως) με διαμονή σε καλά ξενοδοχεία και τα σχετικά. Το επόμενο μεγάλο μου άχτι πάντως είναι η Μαδαγασκάρη! Το μεθεπόμενο; Μάλλον η Ανταρκτική - καλά, υπερβάλλω κάπως τώρα, άσε που θα χρειαστώ και πιο "ειδικό" όχημα ;)
Δυστυχώς τα ταξίδια εκτός Ευρώπης χρειάζονται αρκετά χρήματα για αεροπορικά, βίζες κλπ. ενώ δεν μπορείς να πάρεις και το δικό σου αμάξι. Εκτός κι αν πας π.χ. στο Πεκίνο οδηγώντας! Αν πέσει το γάντι πάντως, δέχομαι την πρόκληση για το 2008 - να δω και τους Ολυμπιακούς BTW :))
Υ.Γ. 1: Και η Ελλαδίτσα μας έχει υπέροχα μέρη. Πέρσι πήγα στη Λευκάδα για πέντε μέρες χωρίς καμία προετοιμασία και έπαθα την πλάκα μου - πήγα σε όλες τις παραλίες και είδα και το ΤΕΛΕΙΟ ηλιοβασίλεμα! Προτού επιστρέψω, επισκέφθηκα και τα υπέροχα Σύβοτα στη Θεσπρωτία. Έπρεπε να είχα περισσότερο χρόνο και ένα φουσκωτό...
Υ.Γ. 2: Λονδίνο και γενικά στα "νησιά" δεν έχω πάει - δε με συγκινεί ακόμα η ιδέα. Αν πάντως πάω κάποτε, πέρα από την πρωτεύουσα, θα έριχνα και μια ματιά στα highlands της Σκοτίας (ή ακόμα πιο πέρα και στις Ιρλανδέζικες ακτές). Μόνο που οδηγούν ...ανάποδα, πανάθεμά τους! Τόσο δύσκολο είναι να γίνουν σοβαροί άνθρωποι επιτέλους; Είναι τρελοί αυτοί οι Βρετανοί, που έλεγε και κάποιος από "απέναντι" :P

Στη Λευκάδα έχω πάει πολλές φορές και πάντα ξαναγυρνάω. Υπέροχες παραλίες, αρκεί να πας τη σωστή εποχή, όταν δηλαδή δεν έχει 8 μποφόρ να χαλάνε τον κόσμο και να μετατρέπουν το νησί σε άλλη Χαβάη! Από τα πιο όμορφα μέρη της Ελλάδας!
Να σου πω, μην μου βάζεις ιδέες, παθαίνω αυτό που παθαίνει και ο ταύρος με το κόκκινο χρώμα. Ταξίδι να'ναι κι ό,τι να'ναι, κι όπως να'ναι! Με sleeping bag στην παραλία, σε πολυτελές ξενοδοχείο, με αντίσκηνο στον Ταϋγετο, σε καλύβα στη ζούγκλα, δεν καταλαβαίνω τίποτε, αρκεί να βλέπω καινούριες εικόνες...
Είναι ίσως ο μοναδικός σκοπός που έχω στη ζωή μου, όλα τα υπόλοιπα είναι μάλλον θολά!
Σε φιλώ διαδικτυακά, όπως έγραψα και στο σχόλιο περί των πολιτών το κόσμου, πριν από μερικές μέρες, στο γνωστό blog, συμφωνώ μαζί σου απόλυτα, κι απ' ό,τι φαίνεται, όχι μόνο σε αυτό το θέμα.
Και για μένα τα ταξίδια σε νέα μέρη (μαζί με τη γνώση) είναι ο μοναδικός ξεκάθαρος σκοπός της ζωής μου. Για τα υπόλοιπα ...προσαρμόζομαι στην πορεία της ζωής - μεγάλο σχολείο!
